About Erased

Informant Media’s action thriller Erased starring Aaron Eckhart and directed by Philipp Stölzl (North Face, Goethe!) wrapped principal photography in June 2011 after shooting in Montreal and Brussels. Joining Eckhart, who plays an ex-CIA agent in the film, are Liana Liberato and Olga Kurylenko.

The Golden Globe nominated Eckhart most recently starred in Battle: Los Angeles and the critically acclaimed Rabbit Hole. Upcoming projects include The Rum Diary with Johnny Depp. His other recent credits include The Dark Knight and Thank You For Smoking.

Liana Liberato, who plays Eckhart’s 15-year old daughter in Erased, received rave reviews for her role in the recently released feature Trust directed by David Schwimmer and co-starring Clive Owen, Catherine Keener and Viola Davis.

Olga Kurylenko plays a CIA agent assigned to track down her former CIA partner and lover (Eckhart.) Kurylenko’s credits include Quantum of Solace starring Daniel Craig.

Erased is based on an original screenplay by A.E. Amel and is executive produced by Informant Media’s Judy Cairo (Crazy Heart, upcoming Hysteria), Michael A. Simpson (Crazy Heart, upcoming Hysteria), Howard Meltzer and Eric Brenner. Essential Entertainment is handling international sales for the title. CAA is repping the U.S. rights.

Former CIA agent Ben Logan (Eckhart) hopes to make a fresh start with his estranged 15-year-old daughter Amy (Liberato). He takes work in Belgium as a security expert for a large multinational corporation. Arriving one morning to work, Logan discovers his division no longer exists, his colleagues have all vanished, and his assistant is actually a trained operative intent on killing both him and his daughter. To survive long enough to figure out what happened and why someone wants them killed, Logan and Amy flee, with a highly trained kill squad in pursuit. Father and daughter, little more than strangers, must rely on one another and learn to trust each other. That trust is threatened when Amy learns the truth about her father’s past.

The creative team includes director of photography Kolja Brandt, editor Dominique Fortin, production designer Jean-Francois Campeau, and costume designer Pascaline Chavanne.
